I hope TikTok doesn’t restrict this video. This is absolutely true. I am unable to know what it’s like to be any other gender, any other sexuality, pregnant, other than white. I’m sure I’m leaving something out.
To have empathy for the generational damage we continue to abuse others with, we must know what has and is being done. We must listen to those not like us or we are doomed to continue the cycle.
To understand it, we have to want to understand from a different perspective and we must listen to those that experience it every day.
The people too listen to won’t look like yourself.
