I’ve been saying for years that Christians are the only people who can realistically turn that ship away from the nationalistic, oppressive, and xenophobic group it has become.

There are so many Christians spouting hate nonstop it’s drowning out the Christians who believe their religion can coexist.

Yeah, I agree that what my neighbor does is not my responsibility, but when you allow a wound to fester and a large part of it is gangrenous, there are two choices.

1. Cut off the dead tissue and nurse the living tissue back to health. While hoping there is enough living tissue to sustain the organism.
2. Suffer as the entire organism succumbs to the infection and dies.

Not a single person in that first group will leave on their own. But we have seen thousands of loving Christians leave. It’s almost as if the evil Christians are brainwashed.
