You know, I know some people who are very good people who haven’t always been nice people. Some who hurt others, badly. But they learned and grew. They can’t change what they did in the past, but they can change how they will behave in the future.

That’s why I was absolutely aghast when Donald Trump won in 2016. How could that many Americans dismiss the overwhelming evidence of the man’s dishonesty, philandering, misogyny, egomania, and narcissism. It’s as if some people were never taught when you associate with criminals, there’s a good chance you’ll commit crimes.

Donald never had to change, and now it’s probably too late. He could have retired after one term to Florida. But no, he will be a pain in our collective backside until the day he dies. Ironically, we’re going to pay for his care, regardless of any of this. Prison or penthouse, his lifelong care is paid. It’s ironic because every one of his supporters seem to think the government paying for anything at all is socialism. He continued the grand republican tradition of give billions to billionaires while giving starving people little or nothing of consequence. Does it make you all squishy inside to know your tax dollars are going to rich people who will never spend it?
If you truly believe he’s a good guy and wants the best for you, if your still positive Trump donated his salary and that means he did not gain wealth during his tenure, if you honestly can not believe he could have committed the crimes he is accused of, let me schedule a visit to a bridge I have for sale. It’s just down the street from Trump Tower.
